The entire course will be taught virtually via pre-recorded practice and lecture videos.
Every day, you will have pre-recorded videos to follow along with to guide you in your studies.
You can follow these pre-recorded lectures, discussions, and practices in your own time and at your own pace to fully absorb the material in the time frame best suited for your schedule.
The entire course is self-paced so you can move as quickly or as slowly as you'd like.
All classes are recorded and available for you to view at any time. You can access the classes from any digital device with internet.
You will also have access to the recorded practices and lectures to return to anytime that you feel you need a refresher throughout the training.
All training sessions include yoga history and yoga philosophy classes as well as guided meditation practices. You can view these videos at your own pace and go back to rewatch anything that you feel you need to review again.

The course will be entirely taught in English, so proficiency in English is essential.
The only things you need to be able to join the course are a genuine interest in yoga history and yoga philosophy, coming with an open mind, and being prepared to learn :)
You do NOT need to be a certified yoga teacher to join this course. You are more than welcome to join simply if you are interested in learning about yoga history and philosophy. Please note, however, that this training will not qualify you to teach yoga in general—only offer you 10 hours of yoga history and philosophy education.
All pre-recorded videos will be made available through private links. You can access these videos from any device with internet.
Due to the extenuating circumstances of this heartbreaking global pandemic, Yoga Alliance has granted a temporary provision to allow its schools to offer contact hours in a virtual format.
In other words, they are temporarily allowing registered yoga schools to offer their courses online in order to keep everyone safe. To successfully register with Yoga Alliance for 10 contact hours of continuing education, you must complete all coursework.
