These are five of the most adventurous places to travel around the world and they wouldn't dare disappoint even the biggest daredevil out there.‍

1. Brave Man’s Bridge, China‍

Really long glass-bottom bridge towering above forest

Fear of heights? Then you better stay far away from Brave Man’s Bridge, a 984-foot-long suspension bridge with a floor made entirely of see-through glass.

Aptly dubbed “Dead Men’s Bridge,” this thrilling tourist attraction at Shiniuzhai National Geological Park in Pingjiang County, China may really live up to its nickname. Only a few weeks after its grand opening in September of 2015, the bridge closed to the public after the glass floor literally cracked under tourists’ feet.

At 590-feet high, Brave Man’s Bridge (or Haohan Qiao in Mandarin) is the world’s longest glass-bottom bridge so thrill seekers visiting this terrifying suspension passage can tick visiting a Guinness Book of World Records site off their bucket lists during their adventurous travels here as well.‍

2. Gansbaai, South Africa‍

Do you have a healthy, innate human fear of sharks? Then if you're a thrill seeker, you'll love swimming with the sharks that have a track record of more unprovoked, fatal attacks on human beings than any other of its species: the great whites.

On the boundless coastline of South Africa, which is home to more than 90 shark species including the dreaded great white, you can take your pick from any number of shark diving tour companies to take a dip into the deep blue with none other than these massive beasts.

Tempting fate, crew members bait the sharks to attract these thrilling creatures to swim right beside you, often drawing the bait toward your cage to give you the thrill of a shark’s jaws heading straight toward you.

A touch of blood and a massive jawline are what you’ll see as you dip lower and lower beneath the comfort of the horizon. With great white sharks reaching a maturity of up to 16.4 feet long, this premium dive will either be a thrilling adventure or an imprudent game of Russian roulette.   ‍

3. Devil’s Pool, Zambia ‍

Want to tempt the devil? There is no better way to call Satan to your side than to take a dip in his very own pool towering high at the lip of the world’s largest waterfall: Victoria Falls.

Sharing a border between South Africa and Zambia, this incredible waterfall can be seen from either side. However, if you wish to take a thrilling dip in the devil’s own infinity pool, it can only be accessed from the Zambian side.

If you want to dive into these waters, it will take a bit of commitment, as you have to take a treacherous rocky walk and a swim down the Zambezi River to reach the pool. Once you arrive, you can hop into the waters and be pushed with the full force of the current toward the lip of the massive waterfall to see an unbelievable bird’s-eye view of the falls with the raging water passing right beside you.

Thrill seekers must be warned that swimming in the Devil’s Pool is only accessible during the drier months of the year from May to October. A trip to the pool any other time of year would let the devil win, as the trip would inevitably send you crashing down the great heights of the fall to your doomed death, which is probably not exactly the type of adventure you were hoping for on your adventurous travels.‍

4. Pamplona, Spain‍

Have you ever dreamed of being gored by a full-grown bull’s horn? Well, luckily for you, you can bring these dreams to fruition if you dare to take the thrilling run with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

The fiestas of San Fermin are celebrated every year in Pamplona from July 6th through the 14th. This festival has become notorious worldwide for its epically gripping daily opening ceremony: an “organized” running with the bulls, where the bulls used for the bullfighting are led through the old quarter of the city to the gates of the bullring by locals and tourists alike armed with nothing more than rolled up newspapers.

This thrilling run attracts the likes of daring individuals who like to play with fate and those who simply enjoy upholding classic traditions. Wherever you may stand on the issue, traveling to Spain to take a run with the bulls will certainly be nothing short of seriously adventurous travels to tell your grandkids about.

5. Hua Shan Plank Path, China ‍

If you’re a big hiker who loves adventurous travels, you will love nothing more than the world’s most dangerous trail, the Hua Shan Plank Path up China’s mountain Hua Shan just outside the city Xi’an.

Forget the devil here and take the treacherous “heavenly stairs” that draw you steep up the mountain. If your palms are already starting to sweat you’re in trouble, because the steep hike up the daunting and precarious stairs is only just the beginning.

Once you reach the top, you can hitch a ride on a gondola across a deep valley toward the southern peak of the mountain where the real danger begins. With no regulations in place, the biggest thrill seekers can even take this hazardous trail without any of the highly recommended safety gear.

The path turns into nothing more than a series of wooden planks precariously fixed to the mountainside with a rail of chains to hold onto for your life. From here on, there are sides of the rocky mountain that must be climbed straight up with holes dug out of the slope to place your feet.

If you’re able to brave all the elements and the climb, you will end this thrilling hike at none other than a Taoist temple converted to a simple and relaxing teahouse. For a moment, you can take a breath, a quick break and then prepare for the treacherous descent back down.  ‍
